There are so many things that human beings cannot live without, and that is water. In fact, it is not only essential for human beings alone, as animals and plants rely heavily on it, too. It is a well known substance, engulfing the whole world about three fourths of the way. It also holds quite a big part in the human anatomy, as it makes up 70 percent of the entire physique.

The importance of this transparent liquid simply cannot be understated. After all, this transparent liquid makes up about three fourths of the entire surface area of the world. It also makes up 70 percent of the human system. It is not at all surprising that the demands for an excellent supply are steadily rising. After all, not everyone lives near a waterform. The provision of the said liquid is also called water supply. It is managed by public utilities, private groups, even commercial organizations. It aims to deliver from a source to everyone on a regular basis. This ensures the entire population of a certain community of safe and clean liquid that they use as often as they are able.

These consumers are often a mix of everything. They could be purely domestic and pertain to home usage. They could also be commercial in nature as in the form of establishments.

Early Romans devised the aqueducts and made use of pipes as their own indoor plumbing. They also made fountains and wells which are open to the public so that everyone gets their fair share.

In fact, the rest of the European continent snubbed the designs, and it was not until the 18th century that they felt the need for plumbing themselves. The sudden increase in population also increased the demands at very high points. This lead to the British inventing their own methods of conveniently bringing it to homes, until the year 1845, when they successfully worked out the mechanisms of the first tap.

All over the world, over 85 percent of the total population of the entire planet acquire water through a network of pipes. These connections often started with an improved source, which could also include standpipes, kiosks, springs, and protected wells. The remaining percent had to rely on an outside source, which makes them more prone to waterborne diseases.

The remaining number, however, had to have it from unsafe sources that could lead to the affliction of waterborne diseases. For this, both private and public environmental groups have thought about how to improve the quality of water. This led to the development of a certain software.

This software is developed to perform simulation of hydraulic and quality behavior. It is designed to be a tool for research that aims to improve human understanding of distribution systems. The earliest came out in the 1993, and has never stopped evolving for the better ever since.
