The highest producer of electronics is United States producing 3 million tons per year. Electronics scraps can contain valuable resources but on the other hand it can be hazardous because of chemicals. Measure of risk caused by electronic refuse has become difficult to estimate because of rapid rise in the number of scraps disposed in your environment. Exports of computers and phones have led to improvement of living standards but on the other hand the scraps caused health problems.

Regulations which have been set up to decrease the import of electronic materials have led to economic depletion. Those in the recycling industry have made it difficult to have most of the materials recycled. However, governments should come in to regulate the industry.

There are some people who do not dispose materials well. Instead, they throw them into the environment carelessly. Such individuals should be punished by the law. Doing so will save the environment.

Those that oppose export of electronic devices argue that there will be environmental pollution and decline of labor demand. Those working in the recycling industries have developed health problems such as poor development of nervous system. The effect has split to their children hence causing serious health problems.
