Design and scrutiny of hydraulic structures is vital as it helps in checking of a future hydraulic system or a system that is in existence already to identify if there is any modification or a full substitution that is needed. It helps to recognize if there could be any problems like floods when development schemes are developed like constructing of roads. The softwares that are in the simple models can work effectively in finding solutions for the hydrological problems in a short period of time. Their models may vary but all of them surely make the jobs of these engineers less stressful. Many projects can be done with the same software at the same time therefore they save a lot of time.

These softwares also have configuration tool bars so that the operators can create work environments that will work well with their work flows. It also helps the engineers to expand their hydraulic toolbox with the use of new worksheets to make the strategy and analysis work easier.

In conclusion, it is clear that the analysis and design of a hydraulic system is very vital before the beginning of a particular project. Those engineers who ignore this part of project may risk the destruction of their project because of development of drainage structures that are inadequate leading to flooding. For better results the use of the new and better developed softwares is advisable for it will ensure that the results are more accurate.
