User-Friendly Technology: One Point By Scott Brodsky

By Rob Sutter

As many people as there are who understand how to operate computer systems, there is that group that simply doesn't know how to turn theirs on. You may think that this is hard to believe, considering just how much technology has engulfed our lives. However, I think that there are those who are simply intimidated by certain machines, which shouldn't be the case. Scott Brodsky knows just how important this aspect is and makes certain that people will approach these devices in ways which are carefree.

One example of a company that understands how important such ease of use is viewed is Apple. Whether you're a fan of the products or not, the iPod and iPad alike have their audiences and I think that it has to do with how simple the interfaces come across as. Can the devices be more easily modifiable for the sake of customization? This may be true but in the same context, it's apparent that the casual audience will be driven to it; something that can also be said about video games nowadays.

Video games are interesting because there are a number which seem to have certain appeals. For example, if you were to look at Sony's consoles, they appear to be more geared to demographics which are far more invested in gaming than just about any other sector of life. This also goes for Microsoft's console structure but Nintendo is more casual in its approach. This means that people who have played the Wii most likely did so because it was a platform that was leisurely by comparison.

Being easy to use is something that these devices take into account and it's an idea which, I am sure, Scott Brodsky understands as well. Take the items that are associated with companies like Empire Digital Products, as one group of examples. While technology may be something that you know a great deal about, the functions may go over the heads of others. Having a better sense of usage is something that will help make these items become all the more attractive to audiences.

It's not hard to understand why people become disgruntled when working with machinery. There is a great number of intricacies to be had and they are ones which Scott Brodsky has been prepared for. In order to help those who invest in such items, workers will not only put the items together but they will be given simple tutorials as to how to utilize them. This will give them a better understanding of what was purchased and utilization will be made much simpler than before.
