When you first purchased your iPad, pages loaded quickly. Now, you are noticing your machine is not as snappy in it responses as it used to be. Over time, the installation of data and apps will slow down your iPad. Make the most of the "delete all" function that is incorporated within the iPad. When you want a spelling suggestion, highlight the word you're looking to replace. In the menu which appears, you'll see a "Replace..." option. Click that and you should be offered a variety of replacements, from correct spelling to alternative words that are spelled very similarly, making word processing a snap.

It is not possible to simply swipe between days in the calendar app. But, on the bottom of the page, there is the navigation bar which can be very useful. You can switch from different months, weeks, and days depending on your view. The current date will always stay highlighted in blue and tapping on it will return to the current day.

A hidden feature on the iPad's keyboard is the quick apostrophe key. When using Mail, Notes or Pages you do not have to go to the second keyboard when you need to use an apostrophe. Tap down and hold the "!" key. An apostrophe will appear above, and you just slide your finger to select.

Be sure that you only use official iPad accessories with your iPad. Accessories made by other companies have been shown to slow the device and even cause permanent damage at times. Even though the Apple accessories are more expensive than other options they are cheaper than having to replace your iPad altogether.
